After photographing a handful of family sessions over the past few years, I’ve found that there is no one session alike. That’s why this process begins with a conversation. I want to hear everything about you, about your needs and visions. I want to personalize the session just for your family's needs!
Let's Connect
Once your date is reserved, I will send you a Questionnaire, and we'll start chatting about possible locations for your session.
If you're not sure about where you would like to take your photos but you have a general idea of the look you would like, just let me know because I would be happy to recommend a few locations based on your style and personality!
Location
If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you're in luck.
I put together an extensive outfit suggestion guide with tips for every member of the family that will be sent to you via E-mail.
wardrobe Styling
On the day of your session, I'll connect to make sure the weather still looks like it's going to cooperate. We'll exchange numbers and finalize our meeting location. Please plan for your session to take about two hours from start to finish.
The Session
All images from our sessions are typically delivered within about 3-4 weeks of the shoot date via an online gallery. This gallery will allow you to share your favorites with family, order prints and even download images to share on social media.
Your gallery will remain active for six weeks.
DELIVERY
There is also the option to access my online store to the best professional printing labs that offer my clients a variety of ways to turn their images into keepsakes. Wall-mounted canvas prints to decorate your home, beautiful handmade albums and more.
There is a lifetime guarantee on all the products so you never have to worry about the quality of your investments fading over time! What a special way to remember this season you’re in!

Let's get your date on my calendar!
I require a deposit of $225 to secure your date on my calendar! Everyone else is turned away for that date and time. The rest of your balance will be due when you make your final selection!
After our session, I will send you the proof gallery. You will then have the opportunity to decide on a collection from the options available.

The Fine print
*** Travel fees may apply to locations outside of 30 miles. Ask for details.
*** A 8% sales tax will be added to all packages and options for residents of Colorado.
*** Custom payment plans are available.
*** Extended Family session will be adding extra $100

The sooner the better! The weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, we'll need a contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know!

Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when we're in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I coach you through images, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I am well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.

No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, I'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
Often, when I am scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, I'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.

Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
